The third batch of Kwara State pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have arrived in Ilorin, the State capital today, following the successful completion of their Hajj rites.
As usual, the pilgrims arrived through the Max Airline, with a total of five hundred and forty-eight pilgrims, including one official from the State; and nine officials from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).The flight touched down at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin at exactly twenty-six minutes past five (5:26 pm) this evening.
The State official, who led other pilgrims was Alhaja Ahmed Hassanat. This recent arrival comes three days after the return of the second batch of five hundred and forty-nine pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
With the third batch of pilgrims, a total of one thousand, six hundred and fifty-four pilgrims have so far arrived.It would be recalled that the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board airlifted a total number of two thousand, two hundred and four pilgrims for Hajj 2025.
