House of Assembly Confirms 18 nominees as Commissioners in Kwara

The leadership of the Kwara State House of Assembly has confirmed the 18 Commissioner nominees sent to it by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

 

The confirmation of the nominees was sequel to the screening and consideration of the nominees at the Committee of Whole during Tuesday’s  plenary.

The Speaker of the House, Engr. Yakubu Salihu, directed the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Ahmed  Abdul-kareem to communicate the notice of the confirmation of the nominees to the state Governor.

The newly confirmed Commissioner nominees are Dr Amina Ahmed El-Imam -Offa, Folashade Opeyemi-Ekiti, Abdulqowiy Olododo-Ilorin East, Olaitan Buraimah Abosede-Oyun, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman-Ilorin West, Hawa Nuru-Ilorin West  and Aliyu Kora Sabi-Baruten.

Also confirmed are; Dr Segun Ogunshola-Ifelodun, Abdul-Azeez Kola-Asa, Abdullahi Batta-Kaiama, Saadatu  Moddibo-Kawu-Ilorin South, Shehu Ndanusa-Edu and Dr Mary Arinde-Oke-Ero,

Others are; Bolanle Odukuju-Irepodun, Toyosi Thomas, Usman Lade-Pategi, Damilola-Isin and John Bello – Moro

The House as well  confirmed Jemilah Adamu Bake from Baruten Local Government area of the state as Commissioner Two in the Kwara State Civil Service Commission.
