Jason Jae has emerged as the first Head of House (HOH) in Big Brother Naija Season 10 following a competitive three-stage challenge dubbed the “Sense of Peace.” The event took place on July 27, 2025, shortly after the second part of the season’s launch.
The contest was designed to assess the housemates’ speed, strength, and mental agility. A total of 29 contestants participated in the challenge, which unfolded in three elimination rounds.
In the first phase, known as the Block Stacking Challenge, housemates were tasked with replicating a specific pattern using wooden blocks. Only eight participants advanced: Jason Jae, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Victory, Tracy, Joanna, Sultana, and Gigi.
The second round, Goldbar Collection, involved paired teamwork to gather gold bars. Jason Jae, Joanna, Bright Morgan, and Sultana moved on to the final stage.
The final challenge, Treasure Box, required each contestant to unlock a box using a single key. Jason Jae was the first to complete the task, securing his place as the season’s inaugural HOH.
As Head of House, Jason Jae earns immunity from eviction and gains a strategic edge in the early stages of the competition. The full list of privileges associated with the role has not yet been disclosed.
For his first official act, Jason selected fellow housemate Doris to share the HOH lounge with him for the week.
Season 10 of BBNaija, themed “10/10,” has introduced a larger pool of contestants and several twists, including a double launch format.
The Head of House challenge remains a key part of the show, often influencing nominations, alliances, and overall gameplay.
