Fresh Facts have emerged that contrary to the news making the rounds that the late gallant Army Officer, Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali, was killed by the Boko Haram insurgents, some sources have revealed that the late sage must have murdered by some unidentified enemies from within, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.

However, it was exclusively gathered that Panel of Enquiry havebeen set up by the Army Authority to probe into the death of the late gallant warlord.

Findings by ROYAL NEWS on Saturday revealed that the bravery conduct of late Lt. Col. Ali, popularly called “Sarki’n Yaki” must have been posing serious threat to some top echelon of Army Officers who saw him as an emerging Army General and never wished the war ended in earnest due to the monetary benefits coming their ways.

Although, different versions of news about his death was released by different sources but it was gathered that since his emergence as the Commander of the Operation, it was learnt that Late Lt. Col. M.A. Ali had been having close contact with the presidency and often be called on telephone by President Muhammadu Buhari on the development in the front line.

As a retired Army General and former war fighter, President Buhari has kept close contact with Abu Ali knowing well that “the success of any battle lies in the efforts of the Armourer”.

Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Abu-Ali was a Leo, aged 36 and was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 2003. He hailed from KOGI state and is the ONLY member of the 50th Regular Course who has attained the rank of Lt. Colonel on the back of his accelerated promotion in September 2015.

His course mates are currently the most senior crop of Majors in the Nigerian Army and the fast movers shall be Lieutenant Colonels in the last quarter of 2016.

Lt Col MA Ali is the son of the Etsu Bassa, HRH Brigadier General (rtd) Abu Ali, a leading traditional ruler in his native Kogi State. Was Military Governor of pre-partition Bauchi State during the administration of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (rtd). He was a staunch IBB loyalist from their time together in Armour.

But his dad returned to regimental duties after his stint as Military Governor 1990-1992 until he retired in 1998. Coincidentally, it was the year the Etsu retired that his now martyred son and Nigerian hero, enrolled at the Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) for a 5-year cadetship.
