YouTuber, rapper and boxer KSI has been confirmed as a new judge on Britain’s Got Talent, replacing Bruno Tonioli for the show’s 19th series.
Tonioli, who joined the ITV programme in 2023 after David Walliams’ departure, announced he would not return due to scheduling conflicts with his role on the US show Dancing With The Stars.
KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, previously appeared as a guest judge on BGT and sent through last season’s winner Harry Moulder with his golden buzzer. He will now join Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon on the judging panel.
“I’m so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain’s Got Talent team for another season,” KSI said. “I had such a good time last year and I can’t wait to see more top talent. I’m full of energy, ready to go and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever.”
Tonioli said stepping down was a difficult decision but praised the show and its team. “After three incredible series, I’ve sadly had to walk away from a job which has opened my eyes to so much incredible talent. I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with. I know KSI will be a fantastic judge too.”
The Britain’s Got Talent team thanked Tonioli for his contribution, calling him “SEN-SA-TION-AL.”
Filming for the new season begins later this year, with the series set to air on ITV in 2026.
