Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged delegates to the upcoming convention of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) to cast their ballots for a credible daughter of the state and chairman of the state’s NIPR chapter Dr. Saudat AbdulBaqi as a member of the Institute’s Governing Council.
The Governor’s campaign call comes ahead of the opening of the NIPR Convention in Abuja between August 23 and 25, 2023, according a statement issued by Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor on Tuesday.
“We are confident that the NIPR will be better served with Governing Council members like our own Dr. Mrs Saudat Salah AbdulBaqi. The associate professor of mass communication brings to the table years of experience as an academic, ethical PR professional, thought leader, and an innovative thinker who is similarly respected for being a bridge builder and advocate of dialogue, peace and harmony in the society,” the Governor said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Kwara is proud to present to the NIPR delegates a consummate academic, dependable and trustworthy ally, and a result-oriented woman with great passion for excellence. She is rated high on human and material resources management index.
“We join others to promote an eloquent speaker, compassionate leader, good listener and an astute believer in person-centered communication with the right temperament and skills for crisis management.”
