Kwara Gov. felicitates Adedoyin at 60

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has congratulated foremost journalist and Secretary, International Press Institute, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, on his 60th birthday anniversary.

AbdulRazaq sent his felicitation message in a statement on Thursday in Ilorin.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ace journalist, a former Commissioner for Information in the state, will be 60 years on July 23.

He commended Adedoyin’s giant strides as a journalist, thoughts as leader, party administrator and community development advocate.

The governor also described Adedoyin as a distinguished citizen of Kwara who had used his calling and networks to bring honour to the state.

“I join our compatriots, home and abroad, to felicitate Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, the Oloriewe of Oro Kingdom, on his 60th birthday anniversary.

“A man of depth and a bridge-builder, Oloriewe is a man of peace and a lover of development and people.

”He is a journalist, editor, publisher and administrator whose professional attainments and contributions stand tall for posterity,” he said.

AbdulRazaq, on behalf of the people of Kwara, wished Adedoyin more rewarding years in good health and service to humanity.

“I especially commend him for his unwavering support for our administration,” said the governor.
