Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has commiserated with the people of Oro Kingdom in Irepodun Local Government Area of the state over the death of the Oro Descendants Union (ODU) President, Alhaji Uthman Balogun.
This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, on Monday in Ilorin.
The statement said that the governor sent his condolences to the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, Oba AbdulRafiu Oyelaran, the family of the deceased and the entire Oro community.
“We beseech Allah, exalted is He, to bring comfort to the family of the deceased and to the whole of Oro Kingdom, especially His Royal Highness the Oloro.
“We are consoled by the fact that Alhaji Balogun devoted a large part of his life to serving his community and humanity.
“May God repose his soul,” the statement said.
