Kwara United interim head coach, Ashifat Suleiman, has expressed his ambition to lead the Harmony Boys to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title following their hard-fought victory over Katsina United.
Ibrahim Yahaya’s stunning long-range effort secured a 1-0 win for Kwara United at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, Suleiman said his side would continue to push until they achieve their ultimate goal for the season.
“We won the FA Cup last season, and this season our focus is the league,” he stated confidently.
The win lifted Kwara United to 10th position on the NPFL table with 12 points.
The 2025 President Federation Cup champions will next travel to Enugu for a clash against Rangers, as they continue their quest for league glory.
