Lateef Adedimeji, Wife Welcome Triplets

Date:

Popular Nigerian actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe Adedimeji, have announced the birth of their triplets.

Lateef shared the news on May 1, 2026, via his official Instagram page, revealing the arrival of the babies in an emotional post accompanied by a video.

In the message, the actor explained his recent low profile, describing it as a period dedicated to family and preparing for fatherhood.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for — a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own… My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah!” he wrote.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across social media.

Lateef and Adebimpe, both prominent figures in Nollywood, got married on December 18, 2021, in a widely celebrated ceremony.

Adebimpe is from Ijero-Ekiti in Ekiti State, while Lateef hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State.
