Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has accused fellow actress Iyabo Ojo of orchestrating a campaign to damage her marriage and tarnish her public image.
In a detailed Instagram post marking her fifth wedding anniversary, Anjorin alleged that Ojo engaged in several malicious acts, including hiring someone to secretly record her husband and forging a death certificate to solicit donations. She further claimed that Ojo disseminated false information through various blogs to undermine her.
“Dear Iyabo Ojo, marriage is about kindness and loyalty,” Anjorin wrote. “It’s not about destruction but building together. A good marriage isn’t about tearing a family down.”
Anjorin also alleged that Ojo once lied about receiving a diamond ring from Senator Dino Melaye shortly after her wedding. “You called me claiming Melaye gave you a diamond ring. I never knew it was a lie. Why fabricate such a story?” she questioned.
The dispute between the two actresses has been ongoing, with both trading accusations on social media in recent months.
In a related development, Iyabo Ojo had previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Anjorin, demanding ₦1 billion in damages for alleged defamatory statements.
The court, however, dismissed the suit and awarded ₦500,000 in costs, dealing a partial legal setback to Ojo.
Neither actress has issued an official statement beyond their social media posts regarding the latest developments.
Their feud has attracted significant attention in the entertainment industry, prompting mixed reactions from fans and colleagues.
