Malami donates palliatives to communities in Kebbi

Over 5,000 households across Kebbi State have benefitted from food stuff donated by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that the gesture was delivered to beneficiaries to serve as palliatives against hardship occasioned by the novel Coronavirus pandemic and assist the targeted group to observe Ramadan fast with ease.
Ten truck load were delivered to Khadimiyya for Justice and Development  Initiative for onward distribution  to beneficiaries.
Speaking to journalists, the National Coordinator of the NGO Alhaji Malami AbdulKadir, said the items include 2,600 bags of rice, 1,000 bags of Sugar, 300cartons of Spaghetti, 1000 bags of Millet,and 1000 jerrycane of Vegetables oil.
AbdulKadir noted that in order to ensure equitable distribution of the items, his organization has constituted distribution committee under the  leadership of Bello Muhammad Nasarawa, the Dan Dakan Gwandu.
He said his NGO has the instructions of the Attorney General of the Federation to target orphans, disabled, widows, and the less privileged.
The Honourable Minister’s benovelence also covers Religious Leaders and most vonulreble in the society amongst the five thousand households.
Responding, the committee chairman Alh Bello Dan Dakan Gwandu promised to adhere strictly with the terms of reference given to his committee.
He said he will ensure equitable distribution of  the consignment to the less privileged and most vunerable in the society.
In a massage to the State,  the Attorney General of the Federation call on Muslim faithfuls in the state  to use the blessed month of Ramadan to pray for the end of this pandemic, peaceful cooexistance and ease from the current challenges.
Also speaking the BOT Chairman of the Foundation, Abubakar Usman Gotomo, called on the Kebbi State citizens and the entire people of the country to abide by the rules and regulations spelt out by relevant authorities and health experts on preventive measures against the pandemic.
