The traditional ruler of Obbo-Ile, Oba Rufus Olusegun Adebayo Akamo-ekun 1, has generously constructed a mini-barracks for the personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Obo-Ile Division.
The new mini-barrack, named in honor of the Kwara NSCDC State Commandant, Dr. Umar JG Mohammed, is designed to provide suitable accommodation and a conducive environment, enabling the officers to perform their duties effectively. 
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Wednesday, 14th August 2024, the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr. Umar JG Mohammed thanked the monarch and expressed his gratitude to the good people of Obo-Ile for their initiative and support in facilitating the construction of the facility, and gave the assurance of the optimum use of the facility.

In his remarks, Oba Rufus Olusegun expressed deep gratitude to the State Commandant for his role in bringing quality security close to his people and reaffirmed his community’s commitment to collaborating with the Corps and providing all necessary support.
