The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in all the 30 local government areas (LGAs) in Osun State.
The Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), Hashim Abioye, announced this at a press conference on Saturday.
Abioye stated that PDP candidates secured all the councillorship seats in all 332 wards in the state, as well as the chairmanship elections in all 30 local government council areas.
The Osun State government had insisted that its local government elections on Saturday recorded a 60% voter turnout.
