The veteran actor’s family has approached the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest a Tiktoker who falsely claimed that Edochie had died. The false news was widely circulated online, prompting urgent action from the family.
The rumours were debunked by both Edochie’s family and his management, who confirmed that the actor is alive. His first son, Leo Edochie, described the viral video as “a lie from the pit of hell” in a statement on Instagram.
Leo Edochie revealed on Thursday that he had formally contacted the DSS to track down the Tiktoker responsible for spreading the false report. He emphasized that the authorities are actively pursuing the individual.
In addition, Leo announced a reward for anyone who provides useful information that leads to the arrest of the Tiktoker. He also shared a photo of the suspect and disclosed the handle as @ONE_BOR 001.
The family’s swift response highlights their determination to stop the spread of false information and hold those responsible accountable. Leo assured the public that anyone assisting in the arrest would receive a cash reward once the Tiktoker is apprehended.
