The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR, on Friday 2nd January 2026 visited Emirate Radio 98.5 FM, Ilorin with a call for national unity amidst numerous challenges.
Etsu Yahaya Abubakar who is also the Chairman Coordinating Committee of National Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria (NTRCN) expressed satisfaction over the Radio Broadcasting Investment stressing that media has numerous roles to to play in social security and national development.
The paramount ruler was conducted round the facilities by the Managing Director/CEO of the Radio Station, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, ROYAL NEWS reports.
Etsu Nupe further urged the management and staff of Emirate Radio 98.5 FM to remain committed and dedicated to the broadcasting ethics and ne patient in the process of job delievry in order to avoid error and misinformation.

He however showered royal blessing on the workers and prayed for continuous guidance and upliftment at all times.
