Prominent Ilorin cleric, Abubakar Erubu is dead

Popularly called Alhaji Ibadan, the cleric died on Saturday (today) and has been buried in line with Islamic injunction.

The deceased was popular for the propagation of Islam, an attribute that led him to become a resident of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He has contributed to community development in the areas of dawwah and mentoring of younger ulamas in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
