Nollywood star, Regina Daniels, has expressed joy over the release of her elder brother, Sammy, from prison custody.
Sammy was granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, after meeting his ₦5 million bail condition.
Reacting in a series of posts and videos shared via her Instagram story, Regina said the outpouring of love and support during her brother’s ordeal deeply moved her.
“People love me ooo, I no believe am walai. I love you so much, my brother. Nobody go try beat me again,” she said. “The kind of love I’ve received during this period makes me feel good. Ned thought people would hate me, but honestly, belle dey sweet me.”
Sammy’s release followed a wave of online agitation under the hashtag #FreeSammy, after reports that he was remanded under controversial circumstances.
He was reportedly arrested and charged in an Abuja court by his sister’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, over a social media altercation amid a strained relationship with Regina.
Nwoko, however, denied allegations of domestic abuse, instead accusing Regina of drug abuse—claims she has not publicly addressed.
