Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has threatened to sue her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others over allegations that she uses hard drugs. The actress made the announcement on Wednesday in a video shared on her Instagram page, where she addressed claims she said were aimed at damaging her reputation.
In the video, Daniels presented laboratory test results from a hospital in California, which she said showed she tested negative for hard drugs. She explained that the test was conducted to protect her image as a public figure and to assure her supporters and children that the allegations were false. She described the accusations as harmful and said she would pursue legal action at the appropriate time.
The clarification comes nearly three months after Senator Nwoko publicly accused the actress of drug use. Daniels had earlier shared footage of herself at a California hospital undergoing the drug test, amid widespread reactions on social media and in the entertainment industry.
