ROYAL NEWS commiserates with NUJ, NALVEJ over ‘Tallest’ death

Management of ROYAL NEWS Newspapers, an online news platform has commiserated with the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,  (NUJ) Kwara State chapter over the demise of Alhaji Ibraheem Salami popularly called ‘Tallest’.

 

Late Ibrahim Salami, a veteran journalists, died at the age of 75 during a brief illness at his airport residence on Saturday, according to brief information released by the Chairman of the National League of Veteran Journalists( NALVEJ) in the State, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi.

In a condolence message issued by the Editor-In-Chief of ROYAL NEWS, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the deceased was described as an upright media practitioner, humble and committed work.

“He gave is best to the media profession as an excellent photo-journalist before his retirement. The society at large will indeed miss his exit”, he added.

ROYAL NEWS condoled with families left behind by late Ibrahim Salami, members of the Kwara NUJ, National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ), managment of National Pilot Newspapers, associates as well as sympathisers.

The statement therefore prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings, admit him into paradise and give his families the fortitude to bear the great loss.
