Super Falcons Camp Opens With 11 Players Ahead of Friendlies

Eleven players have arrived at the Super Falcons camp in Yaoundé ahead of friendly matches against Cameroon as part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The camp opened on Tuesday with the arrival of head coach Justine Madugu, his assistants and backroom staff. Among the early arrivals are captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Monday Gift, Demehin Tosin and Christy Ucheibe, along with Ngozi-Okobi Okeoghene, Ogbonna Glory, Christopher Precious, Omewa Joy, Onyenezide Esther, Oloko Fatima and Nkwocha Favour.

Fourteen more players are expected to join the squad in camp as preparations intensify. The team is scheduled to hold its first training session later on Tuesday.

Nigeria will face Cameroon in the first friendly on Saturday, with both teams set to meet again next week Tuesday. The matches will serve as key build-up games for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
