Date:

President Bola Tinubu has pledged that Nigeria will not succumb to individuals attempting to disrupt peace and security in the country. The statement was made during an Interfaith Iftar event with religious and traditional leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday evening.

The President assured Nigerians that the fight against insecurity is progressing and that the government remains committed to overcoming threats posed by terrorists. He described the current situation as a turning point, noting that terrorists are becoming desperate as they lose ground across the country.

The President also highlighted improvements in the economy, stating that economic conditions are gradually easing and older citizens are beginning to feel relief. He credited these developments to ongoing government efforts and policies aimed at stabilizing the nation.

Concluding his remarks, Tinubu reassured Nigerians that the administration will persist in its work to ensure security and economic growth, underscoring the government’s resolve to protect the country from threats while fostering prosperity.
