Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, has dismissed speculations linking her romantically with fellow superstar, Wizkid.
The singer recently revealed in an interview that she once dated a public figure, explaining that the relationship was kept private because her partner preferred discretion, despite openly flirting with other women under the guise of protecting their privacy.
Her revelation immediately fueled rumours, with many Nigerians concluding she was referring to Wizkid, given the long-standing whispers of a romance between the pair.
However, in a fresh interview with The Breakfast Club, Savage clarified that Wizkid was not the person in question.
“Shoutout to Wizkid. I love and respect him, but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure, but it’s not him,” she stated.
The award-winning singer, who is also a mother of one, declined to reveal the actual identity of the celebrity she dated.
