US Releases Additional FBI Files Detailing Allegations Linking Trump to Epstein Case

Date:

The United States Department of Justice has published additional FBI documents detailing interviews with a woman who alleged that President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her after being introduced by the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Officials said the documents were not previously released because they were mistakenly marked as “duplicative” during earlier congressionally mandated file disclosures related to Epstein.

The newly released records include accounts of 2019 FBI interviews in which the woman alleged she was assaulted by both Epstein and Trump when she was between 13 and 15 years old. She claimed Epstein introduced her to Trump in either New York or New Jersey and said she later reported biting Trump as he allegedly attempted to force her into sexual acts.

The woman also alleged that she and individuals close to her received threatening calls over the years to silence her, which she believed were connected to the Epstein network.

Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing in connection with the allegations, while the Justice Department previously stated that some released documents contain what it described as untrue and sensational claims. Meanwhile, lawmakers have questioned the handling of the files, and a House committee recently voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi over the department’s management of the documents.
