Nigerians have been called-upon to fear Allah and worship Him whole-heartily and do good to all manners of people.
A renowned Islamic Scholar, Dr. Yusuf Kolawole Jimoh gave this Lecture in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital at the One-Year special prayer session for the Pioneer Grand Kadi of Kwara State Late Justice Abdulkadir Orire – the departed Sarkin Malamai of Ilorin Emirate and Chairman – Islamic Missionaries’ Association of Nigeria (IMAN).
According a Press Release issued by the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria, the Islamic Scholar observed that most wealthy Muslims in Nigeria are not doing much to reduce the hardship facing the people; whereas the wealth they have from Almighty Allah was meant to serve the people for abundant rewards from Him.
On the departed Sarkin Malami Late Justice Abdulkadir Orire, he described him as a God-fearing, committed and highly resourceful Scholar who spent all his life in the propagation of Islam and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive him.
Many dignitaries attended the Special Prayer session including the Executive Governor of Kwara State Mal. Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razaq, the State Grand Kadi Justice Ola Abdulkadir, Kadis of the State Sharia Court of Appeal of Kwara State, Chairman of IMAN Alh. Abdullahi Nurudeen, Prof. Badmus Lanre Yusuf, members of various Muslim Organizations and Orire Family Members and friends.
