2027: Portable Issues Controversial Warning to Yoruba Voters Over Support for Tinubu

Date:

Controversial singer Portable has warned that spiritual consequences await Yoruba people who do not support Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. In a recent broadcast, the artist said those who oppose the president’s re-election risk facing divine punishment.

Portable claimed he had been contacted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support Tinubu’s campaign, adding that he would soon begin mobilising voters on behalf of the ruling party.

The singer further stated that “thunder and Ogun” would strike any Yoruba person who refuses to vote for Tinubu, while urging citizens to support the president in the interest of peace and national stability.

He also suggested he had received campaign materials from the party and hinted at plans to distribute food items such as rice and vegetable oil as part of mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.

Portable’s remarks have drawn attention online, adding to ongoing political conversations ahead of the 2027 elections, where public endorsements by celebrities are increasingly shaping campaign narratives and voter engagement.
