Emir of Ilorin congratulates newly appointed Elekan, Oludofian

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has congratulated the newly appointed Elekan of Ekan in Oke-Ero Local Government Area, Oba Olaniyan David Adekunle and the Oludofian of Idonfian in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Oba Olarewaju Ademola Omikunle.

In a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari rejoiced with both monarchs who were presented with Second Class of Office as Traditional Rulers in the state.

According to the statement, “His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR on behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council send his heartfelt congratulations to the two Royal Majesties on their appointment and installation as Traditional Rulers.

“He wished them a successful reign on the throne of their forefathers with excellent accomplishments for their subjects. The Emir also appealed to the people of Ekan and Idofian towns to support the monarchs in order to sustain the existing peaceful co-existence in their respective communities. “
