The Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has extended its congratulations to the illustrious Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, on the momentous occasion of his 30-year coronation anniversary.
In a joint statement signed by the Chairman, Mr. Gabriel Ogunade and it’s Secretary, Mr. AbdulRahman Sanni, the chapter described the 30-year reign of the monarch as a remarkable milestone and a testament to his unwavering dedication to the people of Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State, and a celebration of his enduring legacy of peace, progress, and prosperity.
The statement reads: “Under his visionary leadership, Ilorin Emirate has undergone a breathtaking transformation, blossoming into a thriving cosmopolitan city that is a beacon of hope and inspiration to many. The Emir’s fatherly guidance has fostered an environment of harmony and communal understanding, paving the way for unprecedented growth and development.
“The statistics are staggering. From a single university to six, Ilorin has become a hub of academic excellence, producing nearly 200 Professors and a remarkable number of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs).”
NIPR added that, “The Emirate’s intellectual capital has never been stronger, and its economic footprint has expanded exponentially.
”The NIPR saluted the Emir’s commitment to peace, harmony, and communal understanding, which has created a solid foundation for accelerated growth and collective prosperity. His leadership has been a unifying force, driving development across Kwara State and inspiring a new generation of leaders.
”As we celebrate this historic milestone, we pray for the Emir’s long life, sound health, deeper knowledge, and greater wisdom.
“We also urge the people of Ilorin Emirate to sustain their support for this revered monarch, whose legacy will continue to inspire and uplift generations to come”, they added.
