Laycon Reflects on Life After Big Brother Win

Date:

Reality star and rapper Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba, popularly known as Laycon, has revealed that he lost his inner voice after winning the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2020. He stated that he only reconnected with his inner self a year later, in December 2021, following his sold-out concert, The Icons Fest.

Speaking on his video series, Life With Laycon, the rapper explained that silence has been a consistent and crucial factor in his journey of self-discovery. He described how the absence of external noise forced him to confront his own thoughts and reflect deeply on his life.

Laycon shared that during this period, his inner voice asked difficult questions about his happiness, purpose, and the path he wanted to take in life. These reflections compelled him to spend time alone with his thoughts, leading to uncomfortable but necessary realizations about himself.

The rapper emphasized that many people fail to grow because they avoid embracing loneliness and silence. According to Laycon, solitude is essential for personal growth as it serves as a mirror that projects one’s life, helping to identify areas that need adjustment or improvement.

He urged his fans and followers to embrace solitude and self-reflection as tools for personal accountability. Laycon highlighted that confronting oneself through silence may be challenging but is vital for achieving inner peace and long-term growth.
