Family members, friends and well-wishers on April 7, 2026, gathered in remembrance to mark the third anniversary of the passing of Adijat Kubura Iyawo Anobi, described by loved ones as a devoted mother and a source of strength to many.
In a tribute released by the family, they reflected on her enduring influence and the deep sense of loss that remains three years after her death.
“It has been three years since her voice last filled our home and her laughter warmed our hearts. Yet, not a single day has passed without her crossing our minds,” the family said.
They remembered the late matriarch as not only a mother but also a guiding presence whose legacy continues to live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched.
Fuji music star Wasiu Alabi Pasuma also honoured her memory in a tribute shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, underscoring the impact she had beyond her immediate family.
Relatives said they have found comfort in the continued support and remembrance from friends and associates, even as they acknowledged that her absence is still deeply felt.
They also offered prayers for her peaceful rest in Jannah and expressed hope that her legacy of love, strength and compassion would continue to inspire those she left behind.
