President Muhammadu Buhari has commended Nigerians for the supports and compliance to the lockdown order in some parts of the country.
He said: “The level of compliance to the COVID-19 guidelines is general good. Thank you for your support and cooperation.”
He stated this on Monday during a nationwide broadcast monitored by ROYAL NEWS.
The President also thanked leaders of religious bodies as well as media practitioners for their assistance and understanding throughout the 14 days lockdown exercise.
Buhari however stressed government’s efforts towards curtailing the global pandemic from spreading across the Nigeria states adding that testing centres would be provided at airports and land borders.
“As a nation, we are on the right track to win the fight against COVID-19. We are however disturbed about the increasing numbers of the cases in the nation.”
