GOVERNMENT of United Arab Emirates (UAE) have removed the ban placed on travellers/flights from Nigeria, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.
said restriction on flights arriving from Nigeria and 11 other African nations will be lifted on Saturday.
Also allowed to travel ate flights from 11 other African countries, according to a rrlease by the UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on Thursday.
The agency said it was lifting the ban initially imposed as part of measures to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
According to the authorities the said flight arrivals can resume from countries like Namibia, Congo Republic, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Botswana.
Others are Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, the authorities said in a post on Twitter Wednesday.
