Davido announces album release, returns to social media

The internet is currently buzzing as Afrobeats superstar Davido, returns.

O.B.O as he’s fondly called set off the internet with his comeback on Tuesday after he made posts on his Twitter and Instagram pages, announcing his return with an incoming album.

He shared a video compilation of moments past with some from his next body of work, ‘Timeless’ set for release on March 31, 2023.

While the clip played, Davido could be heard saying, “There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal. A time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to speak and a time for silence.

“We have tall the choice to do this in our own time. But thank God I’m grounded by your love which is ‘timeless’.”

To accompany the clip, the ‘Champion Sound’ singer wrote: “There is a time for everything. A time to Grieve and a time to Heal. A time to Laugh and a time to Dance. A time to Speak & A time for Silence. Thank you to everyone out there for your love and that has held me down. My next album TIMELESS is here, March 31st. Preorder in bio.

“All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.”

His return has left many ecstatic as they have taken to the post to express their love and joy seeing the day of his much-awaited return come to pass as they accord him a kingly welcome.

Since the death of his son, Ifeanyi David Adeleke, on October 31, 2022, David restrained himself from flaunting his lifestyle on social media platforms

His grand return on social media comes a few days after he deleted his profile photos with all the posts on his Instagram and Twitter pages, leaving only three on the former.
