Again, Emir of Ilorin appoints new Ardo Fulani of Kwara State

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Adam Abdullahi Mahmud as the new Ardo Fulani of Kwara State.

In a statement issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the newly appointed Ardo is to henceforth be the head of the entire Fulani both Barugu and Bororo in the state.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who disclosed that Ardo Mahmud was appointed following his outstanding and track record of honesty and patriotism among his people and beyond.

The Emir prays Almighty Allah to to grant Ardo Mahmud the wisdom and strength to discharge his duties for the general wellbeing of the entire Fulanis, the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State in general.
