Alright Football Club of Ita-Kure, Ilorin on Sunday defeated Shonga Football Club at a Community World Cup football tournament organized by the Waziri Sulu-Gambari Foundation held at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari was represented by his Personal Assistant, Alhaji Murtala Abdulraheem who presented trophy to the winner of the tournament.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the founder of WSGF, Dr. Waziri Sulu-Gambari, who is also a Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters, Abuja expressed his delight over the peaceful conduct of the players and pledged his continuous supports for sporting activities in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
