At 60, Tinubu Praises Tambuwal’s Contributions to Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Senator Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on his 60th birthday, praising his contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape. The President’s message, released on Saturday by his spokesman Bayo Onanuga, acknowledged Tambuwal’s long years of service to his home state and the nation.

Tambuwal, a prominent politician and lawyer, represents Sokoto South Senatorial District in the National Assembly. He has held several key positions, including Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015 and Governor of Sokoto State for two terms between 2015 and 2023.

In his congratulatory message, President Tinubu commended Tambuwal for his dedication to nation-building and advancing democracy, noting his commitment to public service and governance reforms during his tenure in office.

The President also highlighted Tambuwal’s role in promoting political stability and good governance in Sokoto State and across Nigeria, reflecting on his efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and processes.

Concluding the message, President Tinubu wished Tambuwal many more years of health and success, expressing hope for an even brighter future in his continued political and public service endeavors.
