The 10th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is set to premiere with a historic two-night launch on July 26 and 27, 2025, marking a major milestone for the popular Nigerian reality TV show. For the first time in the show’s history, producers are kicking off the season with a weekend-long premiere, signaling an ambitious approach to what has become one of Africa’s most influential entertainment platforms.
Since its debut, BBNaija has evolved from a reality TV experiment into a cultural phenomenon, consistently shaping careers, building brands, and launching social media influencers. The show has grown into a powerhouse of homegrown entertainment, often serving as a springboard to stardom for its contestants.
Auditions for Season 10 took place from May 3 to 7, 2025, followed by in-person selection events held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to 18. Thousands of hopefuls participated, vying for a chance to become part of the BBNaija legacy.
This year’s winner will walk away with a grand prize of ₦150 million, underlining the show’s continued reputation for life-changing rewards. The 2025 edition is backed by major sponsors including Guinness Nigeria as the gold sponsor, alongside Smirnoff, Pepsi, Bet King, and Innoson Motors.
