The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State has suspended its State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Tim Nyor, over alleged gross violation of the party’s principles, insubordination, and anti-party activities.
The decision was announced in a statement issued by the state secretary of the party, Comrade Dan Nyikwagh, following a State Working Committee meeting held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the party’s secretariat in Makurdi.
According to the statement, the suspension is in line with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017, as amended).
Nyikwagh said the suspension takes immediate effect and will last for one month, pending the outcome of investigations and any further action that may be taken in accordance with the party’s constitutional provisions.
During the suspension period, Hon. Nyor is barred from participating in all party activities at any level.
The State Working Committee reaffirmed its commitment to discipline, internal democracy, and strict adherence to the party’s constitution.
