BREAKING…. FEC approves merger, scrapping of some ministries

The Federal Executive Council under presided over by President Bola Tinubu has approved the scrapping and merging some ministries while a new ministry will also emerge.

With the new development, the Ministry of Niger Delta and the Ministry of Sports Development have been abolished.

A new Ministry of Regional Development will be established to supervise all regional development commissions, including the Niger Delta Development Commission, North West Development Commission, South West Development Commission, and North East Development Commission.

Meanwhile, the National Sports Commission (NSC) will assume the responsibilities previously held by the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Tourism will be merged with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy.

  1. Why is govt refusing to address the problem of the nation:HIGH COST OF ENERGY? The govt is chasing shadows and trying unsuccessfully to divert attention/distract us. Nonsense.
