Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced her return to the stage after years of battling the incurable neurological disorder, Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). She revealed plans for a concert series in Paris, France, running from September 12 to October 14, 2026.
In a video shared on her Instagram to mark her 58th birthday, Dion thanked her fans for their unwavering support and prayers, saying their encouragement helped her through difficult times. “You have helped me in ways that I cannot describe. I’m truly so fortunate to have your support,” she said.
Dion expressed her excitement about performing again, noting that she has resumed singing and even doing a bit of dancing. The announcement comes nearly three years after she cancelled her world tour due to her health condition.
The singer was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, a rare disorder that causes uncontrollable muscle spasms and has no known cure. Her illness forced her to step back from public appearances and touring.
Celine Dion made her first public appearance in 2024 at the 66th Grammy Awards and has remained largely out of the public eye since. Her upcoming Paris concerts mark a significant milestone in her journey back to performing.
