Davido Explains Reduced Social Media Activity After Marriage

Date:

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has explained why he has become less active on social media in recent weeks.

Responding to a fan on X who noted his absence and wrote, “Davido never post for over 3 days now. I miss my idolo,” the singer hinted that marriage has changed his online habits.

“When u marry u go understand.. lol,” Davido replied.

The singer, who remains the most-followed African artist on social media, tied the knot with his longtime partner, Chioma Adeleke, in a white wedding ceremony held in Miami, Florida, in August 2025.

The couple recently celebrated their one-month anniversary on September 11. Chioma marked the occasion by sharing a short clip from their wedding, expressing gratitude and joy over their new chapter together.

Davido also reflected on the celebration, describing their wedding day as “the best day ever.”
