Emir Sulu-Gambari mourns late Imam Maraba, Abdulsalam Shuaib

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commiserated with the entire council of Ulama over the death of Sheikh Abdulsalam Shuaib.

The deceased who was until his death the Chief Imam of Maraba Central Mosque died early morning of Wednesday January 5, 2022 after a brief illness.

This is contained in a condolence message issued by the Emir’s Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, saying: “Death is inevitable and shall visit everyone at their appointed days.”

The monarch who confirmed that the late cleric was a versatile and committed scholar who contributed greatly to the propagation of Islam through his regular sermons and public outreaches.

He also commiserated with the families, associates, sympathisers as well as the league of clerics in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond over the loss of the late Imam Maraba.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however prayed that Almighty continue to have mercy on the departed soul, forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
