Emulate virtues of Jesus Christ, Gbenga Power tells Xtians

Date:

Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle Power
As Christians in Nigeria and Kwara State joined their counterparts across the globe for another Christmas celebration, faithful have been implored to emulate the virtue of Jesus Christ which include tolerance, selflessness and generosity.

The Chairman of Gbenga Power Foundation and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Honourable Gbenga Power-Oyekunle, made this call in his Christmas message made available to newsmen.

Honourable Power-Oyekunle said that the birth of Jesus Christ represents salvation for the entire universe, noting that this is evident in the holy Bible that salvation is free which is part of the love, God has for the world to have given his holy begotten son.

The Philanthropist urged Christians to always abide by the holy scripture in their day to day activities such as being their brothers keeper and support the government.

*At this most wonderful time of the year, I felicitate with Christians in Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Constituency, Kwara South, Kwara State and Nigeria in general; let’s reflect deeply on the reason for the season, assist the less privileged by sharing what we have no matter how little we think it is, play our part to support the government and be at peace with all men*

*Let’s also have it at the back of our minds that government at sub-national and national level will find it difficult to succeed without our inputs as citizens, hence the need for all and sundry to play their role as expected; just as government must continue to listen to the yearnings of the masses*

Honourable Power-Oyekunle wishes all a wonderful yuletide season adding that moderation should be applied as people go about celebrating.

E-SIGNED
HONOURABLE GBENGA POWER-OYEKUNLE
CHAIRMAN GBENGA POWER FOUNDATION.
