Minister’s aide sues for peace, unity among APC members
The Special Adviser (Technical Matters) to the Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Tijani Jibrin (rtd) has registered and revalidated his membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Jibrin,a public affairs analyst and former Director Military Intelligence expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise and appealed to the old and newly registered members of the party to strategise and synergise efforts in building a more virile APC.
The minister’s aide who was at 007 Polling Unit Kumurya Ward in Bunkure Local Government Area of Kano State was accorded heroic welcome by Pupils of Fatima Jibrin and Nasambo Jibrin Nursery and Primary Schools who lined up the streets to honour him.
Checks revealed that at the 007 polling Unit Kumurya ward, the Vice Chairman of the Council Abba Kawu Gurjiya supported by APC Ward and Local Government Chairmen Messrs Rabiu Halliru and Ubaliya Jibrin were among party chieftain who recieved him back home.
He thanked party loyalists for being steadfast in pursuing the objectives of the registration and revalidation exercise and urged them not to waver in supporting policies and programmes of governments at all levels.
