Meanwhile, the currency remained stable at the parallel market, trading flat at N1,500 per dollar, the same rate as on Monday.
The appreciation coincides with a slight increase in Nigeria’s external reserves, which rose to $42.79 billion as of October 20, 2025, up from $42.69 billion recorded on October 17, according to CBN data.
The naira had started the week with a notable gain at the official market on Monday, continuing a trend of gradual strengthening against the dollar.
