Nigerians are suffering, hungry, Primate Ayodele tells Tinubu

Primate Ayodele

The Federal Government has been urged to solve the economic lingering problems in the country in a bid to further find succor to the economic hardship facing the citizenry.

Primate Elijah Ayodele to Tinubu, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, stated this in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, warning President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to address the state of the economy of the country as a top priority stressing that, “The current economic situation is not in good shape.”

Speaking further, Ayodele recommended five solutions for President Tinubu to salvage the state of the nations economy even as part of his 2024 prophecies saying: “Government must work on five things in 2024 which can make the country to be great: (i) Agriculture (food security) (ii) Stable light, (iii) Create employment, (iv) Improve security and buy more weapons, (v) Development of infrastructural facilities”.

The clergyman said; “People are hungry and salaries could no longer sustain the Nigerian workers. Mr. President should act fast because there may be massive protests if he doesn’t solve the problems. He should not wait until people react negatively against him and every politician before realizing that he needs to do the needful.

“If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again.”

Ayodele further stressed that, “there is serious hunger in the land, something urgent needed to be done, Don’t wait till they start stoning you and every politician before working, you need to do something now. It will also affect some African nations as well if you fail to act fast on the state of the economy. The president should do the needful.”
