NILDS DG, Abubakar Sulaiman mourns ex-CDS’s wife, Aminat Modupe

The Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, has conndoled the Ex- Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim over the death of his wife, Hajia Aminat Modupeola Ibrahim.

Professor Sulaiman described the late Hajia Aminat, who had served meritoriously as the National President of the Defence and Police Officers Wives Association, DEPOWA, and former National President, Naval Officers Wives Association Association, NOWA, between 2010 and 2012 as a great woman of excellence, a pride to the nation and womanhood.

According to him, “She would be missed greatly by family and friends as well as the various Islamic organisations for her exceptional kindness and philanthropic gestures.”

NILDS DG condoled the former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim, to accept in good faith the return of Hajia Aminat to her maker, Almighty Allah and prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the immeasurable loss.

The Director General also condoled the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU, and the siblings of the deceased to take her death with equanimity of minds and with total submission to the Will of Almighty Allah.

The Director General also commiserates with her immediate constituencies DEPOWA and NOWA over the demise of one of their own and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanat fridaus.
