President Buhari holds virtual audience with US secretary (Photos)
President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday held a virtual meeting with United State Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
The meeting was held at the statehouse and focused on the insecurity issue in Nigeria and other African nations.
However, Buhari revealed that he asked the United State to consider re-locating the AFRICOM HQ from Germany to Africa near the Theatre of Operation; against the backdrop of growing security challenges in West & Central Africa, Gulf of Guinea, Lake Chad region & the Sahel.
During the meeting, those who present with president Buhari were Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman; Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs; and Ibrahim Gambari, chef of staff.
