SAD END… Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Bereaved!

An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) tragically passed away yesterday after collapsing on a street in Lagos State.

The officer, identified as Remedy S. Yange, reportedly slumped abruptly while on a leave from work to spend time with his family who stays in Lagos.

Until his death, PRNigeria learnt that, Yange was working at the Benue Office of the anti-graft body.

PRNigeria also gathered that Yange was an outstanding EFCC operative known for his involvement in the investigation and prosecution of fraudulent cases in Nigerian courts.

When contacted, the EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances behind their late officer’s demise.
