Tinubu asks Senate to approve 3 REC nominees

Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has forwarded the names of three Resident Electoral Commissioners to the Senate for approval.

The request was read by the President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Tuesday.

The request has been subsequently referred to the committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to report back as soon as possible.
